Investing in HLB People through Learning and Development

Learning and development (L&D) and talent retention are quickly becoming a crucial component of business in today’s world. Luckily for HLB, learning was already at the heart of all our activities and projects.

The HLB Skills Hub offers HLB leaders a way to futureproof their firms by enabling their talent to thrive and progress. The hub is hosted by Degreed, a learning experience platform that allows users to discover learning content, build skills, and successfully take on new career challenges.

Furthermore, the platform allows HR/Talent professionals throughout the network to post permanent full-time roles as well as international exchange opportunities and secondments. Learners have access to the best articles, books, videos, courses, and people based on their interests and learning habits.

HLB Building the Future

The focus of the HLB Executive Leadership program ‘Building the Future’ is on the challenging aspects of leading and managing professional practices. The program has been developed and will be led by University of Cambridge professors.

This programme offers insight to HLB people on building long-lasting innovation across their organisation and on how to blend corporate and entrepreneurial innovation, understand and implement new business models and explore service design. It also provides up-to-date frameworks for embedding a high-performance culture, maximising organisational effectiveness and supporting ESG initiatives.

HLB Engage

As part of HLB’s strategy to drive transformation, HLB has teamed up with The Rainmaker Companies to provide a four series programme addressed to future leaders, ambitious and driven people at pre-partner level. This focuses on creating collaborative international proposals, while forging stronger relationships and partnerships with HLB colleagues. The programme exposes HLB People to the consultative approach in working together and helps them understand the power in using fellow HLB members to create opportunities.

“Job satisfaction and career progression are more important to young people today than ever before, so it's no wonder the world's most successful companies are making L&D a priority. Establishing a culture of learning through a comprehensive set of training opportunities, supported by HR technology solutions, is imperative to futureproof our organisation and retain the talent in our member firms. However, to embed this culture effectively, it must be carefully aligned with HLB’s business strategy and corporate values.”
